Needed to eat something, but didn't find anything interesting at the wine thing, and this place was a ten minute walk from the fair. This is a no frills, clean, little hole into the wall. You order on a machine and they call your number. I thought I was going for the KFC, but once I saw the menu, I went for the black bean noodles. So glad I did because it was really delicious. I just ordered the regular one without the extras.

Food here is so yum. Place is small and clean w/ friendly staff. It's a self-seeking restaurant so you order at a kiosk and they'll bring out the food on a counter and you get your own disposable utensils/cups/trays. The price is really good, especially since I feel like good quality Korean restaurants tend to be $17+ a dish but here everything is pretty much either $13 or $14 which is really good. The portions don't LOOK huge but my two friends and I were full w/ some leftovers afterwards. We got the vegetarian jajangmyeon, rose tteokbokki, and soy sauce Korean fried chicken. All were very yummy and I recommend. Definitely want to come back here and eat more!

Overall Experience: 9.1/10 The restaurant is located on the bottom of some apartments. The restaurant wasn't too busy when we arrived and there were options to either self check out or have your order taken. The restaurant interior is a modern industrial brighter look and wasn't too big. There were maybe 12 tables worth of seating on the inside. The service is very nice and friendly and even offered us an apron while we ate the meal to not get our shirts dirty. The food: We ordered the jajangmyeon, jjamppong and the chili sauced fried chicken. If you choose to dine in the workers will bring the food out to you. The fried chicken was spicy, sweet and extremely crunch and juicy. The flavor of the chicken on the inside is just right, and the flavors of the chilies really come through. It was more of a sweet then spicy taste which was very enjoyable. The jajangmyeon was one of my favorite dishes as it was bursting with umami and richness. The noodles were cooked perfectly with an amazing bounce and chew and the small pork pieces were flavorful and chewy. The jjamppong was good too, but not to the level of the jajangmyeon in my opinion. It was a nice spicy light broth with a lot of seafood, such as shrimp, squid, mussels and scallops. The seafood was cooked nicely and the portion sizes for all the dishes were good. But the dish is something I would get only when I'm craving. Overall: I had an amazing experience and the food and service was great. I would highly recommend coming here to give it a try.
